The major BTTF future complaint has been: we are three years away from 2015, where are all the flying cars? I can’t help but respond, who cares?? You can’t afford one anyways! And I dread to see the accidents that it will cause when it does happen. How many drunks, and teens will we see trying to fly in between the McDonald’s arches, or blowing through high rises because they dropped their cell phone whilst texting and eating.
NO, my major BTTF future complaint is, where is my hoverboard? Mattel is finally ready with a rebuttal.
And I quote, “Developed in conjunction with the original films’ special effects supervisor, Michael Lantieri, prop maker/special effects expert, Mary Anne Lantieri, and the co-producer and co-writer of the trilogy, Bob Gale, and fully sanctioned by Universal Studios, this is a 1:1 scale model (measures approximately 28″ x 8″ x 3″). Our Hoverboard is based on the best features of the more than 30 slight variations of Hoverboard props used in the classic film series, and includes authentic “whooshing” sounds sampled directly from the films and a deco featuring Mattel logos just like in the films. And although full hovering technology isn’t expected until 2015, be assured your Hoverboard will gently glide over most level surfaces (it will not, however, work on water).”
They will begin shipping out on the 20th of December, and will set you back $130, a price worth paying for a legitimate replica. Although eventually I want a REAL one
I’m thinking I want a Pit Bull though…

Some might argue the case of other awesome rock songs that exist in the Universe. There are, of course, a million of them. And to those people we say, please… shut your pie hole.
WE KNOW. This is simply our opinion. If you would like to mention your favorite, or most epic choice in the comments, feel free to do so. An appreciation for music is all we care about. This list also begs the question, why haven’t there been any epic rock songs as of late? Of course, that too is debatable. Is rock and roll heading strictly for the underground? Are all the epic rock songs of the future doomed to a small group of dedicated individuals? It is too early to tell. Rock seems to be following the pattern of the Jazz scene thirty years ago. Its still here, but less and less appreciated. With Screamo, Hip hop, and Pop getting the popular vote from the younger generation, it is no wonder all the great Rock songs are older. Hopefully, none of that is true. Hopefully, the new wave of Rock genius is right around the corner. Either way, here is our list. Enjoy!

A very good friend of mine, who is a musical genius in his own right, once told me that there are laws that dictate a great song, just like the laws of gravity, or the laws of motion. I agree, although I’m not sure what they are. What do you think?
